Training alone vs Training with APL

Without APL
No structure between aerial classes
Piecing together random drills from Instagram
Hitting the same skills ceiling for months
Ignoring injury prevention until it is too late
Training more hours but not progressing faster
Busy, confused, and stuck.
vs
With APL
Strength progression
Skill confidence
Flexibility range
Injury resilience
Training clarity
Structured, strong, and progressing.

If any of this sounds familiar...

01You train every week and genuinely love aerial, but you have no idea what to do between classes. You show up, you work hard, and then you go home and the training just stops. The gains plateau because there is nothing structured holding them in place.
02You have been saving reels and bookmarking tutorials for months. You have tried the drills, followed the challenges, watched the technique videos. But when you get on the apparatus, nothing has fundamentally shifted. Random content is not the same as a programme.
03You keep hitting the same ceiling. The same skill, the same point in the movement where it stops working. You know you need to get stronger or more flexible, but you do not know exactly what to train or in what order to create the result you want.
04You have had a niggle, a strain, or a full injury that set you back. You know aerial is demanding on your body, but no one has taught you how to build the resilience that keeps you training consistently without things breaking down.
05Private coaching is expensive and you cannot justify the cost for multiple sessions a week. You want expert guidance, but you also need something you can follow independently without paying for constant one-to-one contact every time you train.
06You are motivated and consistent, but your effort is not translating into the progress you expected. You are working hard but not working smart, and you know the difference matters — you just do not have the system to change it yet.

...then APL is built for you.

Here is what changes when you have
a training system built for aerialists:

No idea what to train between classes
You open the app and your next session is already planned. Every workout has a purpose, a progression, and a place in the bigger picture of your aerial development.
Patching together random drills from social media
You follow expert-designed programmes built specifically for the strength and mobility demands of aerial arts — with context for why each exercise is there and what it is building toward.
Hitting the same ceiling on the same skills
You work through structured progressions that address the actual weak links in your movement, so each session moves you measurably closer to the skill you are targeting.
Training through niggles and hoping for the best
You have dedicated injury prevention and recovery protocols woven into your training, so you stay strong and resilient without having to guess what your body needs.
Feeling lost without a coach in the room
You get expert guidance through your onboarding call, monthly Q&A sessions, technique webinars, and community support — so you are never navigating progress alone.
Paying hundreds per month for private sessions
You access the equivalent of expert aerial coaching, class attendance, and programme design for a fraction of the cost — with everything in one place and available whenever you train.

How APL came to exist

Ophelie Griffond on aerial hoop

Ophelie Griffond — Founder, Fitfrenchkiss

Ophelie as a child doing trapeze

Ophelie, age 9 — where it all began

Hi, I am Ophelie. I started in gymnastics and circus arts at 9 years old, trained by coaches who had worked for the Moscow State Circus and Cirque du Soleil. I went on to perform professionally. I also had five major leg surgeries, a degenerative spine condition, and years where I could not train at all.

Everything inside your APL membership:

One

Expert-Designed Aerial Training Programmes

Structured progressions for strength, flexibility, mobility, and conditioning — built specifically for the demands of aerial arts. Your library includes aerial strength progressions, the Splits Blueprint, invert power tracks, skin-the-cat prep, aerial maintenance workouts, and more. Programmes built around the movement patterns and adaptations your aerial practice actually requires.

Programming
Two

Skill-Specific Technique Coaching

Targeted tutorials and training tracks for the skills you are working toward — inverts, transitions, dynamic movement, holds. These resources address the specific mechanics behind each movement so you understand what you are building and why it matters for your apparatus.

Skill

Injury Prevention and Recovery Plans

Aerial places specific demands on your joints, tendons, and connective tissue. APL includes dedicated recovery protocols and prehab work woven into your training from the start — not bolted on after something goes wrong. You stay strong and resilient, address aerial injury patterns before they become problems, and return to full training intelligently after any setback.

Longevity
Four

Live Coaching Access and Monthly Q&A

Your membership includes a personal onboarding call to set your training direction, monthly live Q&A sessions where you bring real questions from your training, and educational webinars covering technique, flexibility science, and injury prevention. You are never navigating your progress without expert input.

Coaching
Five

Monthly Updates and On-Demand Classes

APL is not a static library. New programmes, tutorials, recovery routines, and on-demand classes are added every month — including XPress Pilates, Aerial Burn Unit, Get Your Splits, and Backbend Bliss. Your training stays progressive and relevant as your skills develop.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need prior aerial experience to join APL?
+
Not at all. APL is designed for aerialists of all levels, whether you are just starting out or working on more advanced skills. The onboarding call helps set your training direction so everything you access is appropriate for where you are right now.
Can I follow the programmes at home without a studio?
+
Yes. APL is designed to be flexible. The conditioning and flexibility programmes require minimal equipment and can be done at home or in a gym. Some skill-specific work requires access to apparatus, but your onboarding call helps you build a plan around your actual training environment.
How much time do the workouts take?
+
Most workouts are 20 to 45 minutes, designed to fit into a realistic schedule alongside your classes. You will always know what to do and how long it will take, which removes one of the biggest barriers to consistent training.
I have had injuries. Is APL still appropriate for me?
+
Yes — and injury history is exactly why APL includes dedicated prehab and recovery protocols. Your onboarding call is the place to raise any injury context so your training plan can be structured around it. Ophelie trained through significant injuries herself and builds sustainable, body-intelligent programmes as a core principle.
What makes APL different from following tutorials on social media?
+
Social media content is disconnected. A drill here, a stretch there — none of it adds up to a coherent training plan. APL gives you structured progressions that build on each other, address the specific physical requirements of aerial arts, and account for recovery, injury prevention, and long-term development. It is the difference between random effort and purposeful training.
Is there new content added each month?
+
Yes. New programmes, tutorials, recovery routines, and on-demand classes are added every month. APL grows with you so your training stays challenging and relevant as your skills develop.
What is included in the 14-day free trial?
+
Full access to the Foundation Tier — all programmes, on-demand classes, and community features. No charges until after the trial ends. If APL is not right for you, cancel before day 14 and you will not be charged.
What is the difference between the three tiers?
+
Foundation gives you full access to all programmes, classes, and the monthly Q&A — ideal for self-guided aerialists who want structure and expert content. Progress adds monthly 1:1 check-ins and programme modifications for those who want accountability and personalised direction. Elite is a fully bespoke experience with custom programming and weekly coaching contact — the closest alternative to private training.
